No worries, I won't deny that I've been tempted once or twice, but it's very important to me to be a responsible dog owner. Not that I'm calling you irresponsible, far from it, but so many cities are becoming less and less dog friendly due to irresponsible dog owners, that I feel responsible dog owners need to go the extra mile to counter that. I never, ever let Kuma potty on other people's yards for the same reason, even if I clean it up immediately, I feel it's disrespectful of their property, so I don't do it. Just my opinion of course. :)

agreed!

I don't have a dog anymore, but did.

It's a trashcan, not like you pull it to the dinner table and eat off of it. It's meant for trash. Poop is trash. If people get disrespected cause somebody chose to dispose a bagged piece of dog crap into there trashcan, that is rediculous.

If the dog craps in your yard, you have to clean it up. Atleast they have the kindness to pick it up and put it in a bag for you, and even put it in the trash.

I think it depends on if it was emptied already and they haven't brought it back up to the house yet or if it is waiting to be emptied. If it hasn't been emptied yet then I would throw it in there. They will never have to smell it, they already paid for their trash and it's not like the garbage company is going to charge them extra for the one little baggie of poo so no harm no faul. It's not ment to be disrespectful or lazy its just convient.
However if it was already emptied than I wouldn't becuase it might stink up their garage for a week until it gets emptied again and that is rude to do to someone. Especially if they don't have dogs.

"this morning my dog pooped in front of my house just beyond our driveway. I picked up & bagged it, went walking around looking for someone's else's trash can so I can be rude & disrespectful & stink up their trash cans..... cuz I just cleaned mine on a beautiful morning!

in the can it goes for me. People dont even know who did it anyway. I have 2 ess pupies.

just walked my dog this afternoon waiting for kids at their bus stop 2blks away. wouldn't you know it my dog poops in the street in front of my neighbors (wife is at work this time). I pick up but since no trash bin around I carry it home swinging it tra la la la la, skip to my loo my baby.

so I get home & what do I see? someone who uses newspaper or magazine pages to pick up her dog's poop leaves her papered poop across the way from my house, not in the street not on the grass but on the retaining wall! I had just seen her walking pass the kids bus stop with her dog so I know it was her since she has her dog pee & poop across my house daily (& she always claims she picks up, tho one time she left a huge pile for me to pick up)!

so you see all, had my trash bin been out, she could have at least dumped it in tho it would not have been in a bag which to my dismay & anger would have stunk up my bin. so here is a no win situation. I will leave it there & tell her tomorrow not to leave her poop in the paper anymore, that she better use bags like most of us do.
