...and I have a few questions. I've done a little searching on the forums here and I haven't found a satisfying answer yet on tank mates. I'm not interested in knife fish, congo tetras. elephant nose, or cats.

As of right now I have two beautiful 5" Jaguar fish that I bought from Jeff Rapps and while I LOVE them they're driving me nuts STILL. I've separated them and tried to find a lot of similar sized cichlids to add so I could reduce aggression but I haven't found anything and even if I did find a group to add they would just have to be taken out when this parachromis pair did finally breed.

So I'm going to sell these guys (not happy at all about it) and go for a Delhezi tank. After following these forums for a while now I've fell in love with Polys. This is a 125 gallon with two SunSun canisters rated at 550 gph each.

Here is what I want to know.

1. How many Delhezi would fit comfortably at max size?

2. My most important quesiton that I have. When ordering do I need to make sure the polys and fish are the exact same size?

3. Tankmates? I want to order from the same place to reduce shipping cost. I have found a package deal on aqua bid for 3 and they're 5" so I would need to find tankmates that are atleast 5"? http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fw&1485976803 I'm leaning more towards ordering from petzone because there is more of a variety of tankmates to choose from and their Delhezi are 2.5-3" http://www.petzonesd.com/delhezi-bichir/
If I order from Pet Zone and buy the smaller Delhezi the options are more open because of their 2-3" size also.

I'd prefer larger fish that get along well and don't terrorize each other. I also don't wont shy fish. Who does :)

Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

Edit: Also, where do you guys order your polys from?

Delhezi is really one of the non aggressive poly in the poly world, even if you get a 5" and mixed with 2"-3" it will be fine.

You can fit 6 imo in a 125g since most delhezi only grows to 8"-10" lucky if it hit 16", but mostly that hit 16" are wild caught, if captured breed one even hit 16" it will take years.
Good luck with the poly, really easy to take care off.
Looking forward with the updates.

As to where to order, that can be a tough one because some of us hard core poly keepers are getting them from Rehoboth Aquatics (or sometimes spoke of here as Toyin). These ae wild caught and can be pricey for first time poly buyers. Also Toyin is a busy guy and difficult to get a hold of.

If you want Toyin's polys but with customer service I would recommend:

Another site that is good is Wet Spot:

Welcome aboard the poly train.

Thanks, can't wait to get them in.

Trying to find a number or email for them. If they're close enough I'd like to swing by. With my luck they're probably located on the opposite end of Texas which could be pretty far.

Toyin dont have a phone number but he does have a email, like stated above most his poly are expensive for a first time buyer, but his fish are wild caught and come in big size.
