Does it work? LOL
I got friend bought 2 of those and it doesn't work, I read some reviews about those PH test pen and most of the them said it's junk lol
They are good, I used mine at school along with the lab grade ones and it worked fine. Same as the liquid tests too

If it was already waterlogged previously I would think it might sink more quickly....

This is a weird mystery.... maybe it was something subtle from the wood and not major?

I wish I had answers.

That's what I'm thinking. This was dry when I found it btw. Yesterdays picture of the wood still has a small piece of slate attached to one leg of the wood. When I took that off it rose a little in the water so it's not there just yet but it's very close to sinking because when I initially tried sinking it with just that little piece of slate it's like it didn't do anything at all to sink it.

All of my other polys are doing great. I'm watching the dels choke down as much tilapia as they can before the big fatty chocolate cichlid gets it all. The ornates swim over, grab a few pieces, and swim away and hide. The delhezi on the other hand just lay there and snack until everything is gone. I had to do a full on search today because I've only seen 4 polys in the last few days and so I was looking for a body of the 5th. I turned every rock upside down which took forever. I then picked up one of the 3 boulders and there he was, hiding! I have egg crate under the big rocks so I guess that's how he got under there. I wouldn't mind having a few more dels :D

This is why I'm going to look for wood in a major dam that's only 20% full, any wood would have been sunk for years but may be dry again by now. Hopefully there is something.

This is the first time I have heard of anything toxic in the wood
