Ordering New 440/480 any advice?

Sump pics, as stated 2/4 drains not hooked up, hence the buckets...

Need prefilter material. He was going to supply... did not... this is what I had laying around...

Got it in place and running in 4 hours ?,

Did spend 2 hours yesterday washing 900#’s of carib sea gravel ?

I wish I thought of the flex hose instead of running all rigid I think it makes it look a lot neater and it has to be dam faster. I will say 8 or more of my set up time was on my aqua scape and it's still not done. I am very bad at visualizing what something is gonna look like I need to actually see it so i place a rock step back and look at it then move it all so I had to wait for the mortar to dry before I could place my second layer of rock. Also do you have a C2C I cant tell in those pics

I think so, I just had to read up on c2c...

is this in reference to the height of the standpipes connected to the bulkheads in the overflow box?

I have 4 - at one height maybe 10” and two longer ones (emergency drains) at the water level of the tank, I’ll try n get some pics...

plumbing ya, it’s quick n dirty, my facia will cover everything so I was not super concerned...

more pics! Did wire/cord management n threw a MP40 on...

c2c = coast to coast
Back of tank is slotted from one end to the other with an external box.
Yours has an internal trapezoid box which allows for the tank to be up against the wall.

dr exum , any chance you can mount any of your electrical devices off the floor in case of water leaks? I'd hate to see vital equipment get damaged due to water. ?

The tank looks awesome, well worth the wait. How do those mp40s hold on 3/4 acrylic? I’m looking. To pick one up but I’ve read a lot on conflicting info on them holding on 3/4.

ya, I raised them up via egg crate and put a WiFi water sensor there... the builder was going to make me a panel.... I don’t see it anywhere...

I wanna wait n see how the facia attaches before trying to build/fabricate something...

I need an acyrlic box/shelf/cube thing with ports for cords....

I tried to move my internet but the cat6 in the wall where I wanted to put it is dead ? maybe a screw went through or something during sheetrock....

I’ll let you know, it fell off the back, it’s 3/4”+1/4” (black) back there... it’s on the side I can’t see right now holding tight, as much as I love functionality... I don’t wanna look at it on the outside... I dunno...

I’ve not messed with the features much... does not seem 4500gph...

Gonna fire up the “tidal mode” here n a sec ?
