Upper and lower jaw is easy. It's literally the jaws protrusion upper jaw is out past lower and the opposite on lowers. Upper jaws are easier identified also. I think anayway. A few look similar like del and weeksi when small anyway. Polli and palmas and golddust. But colors are pretty stable so a weeksi is a grey base where del is tan/gold, both can have tiger stripes or black blotches along the back.

I just read the sticky. My head hurts and i still cound not tell the difference out in the "wild"

About the same as ornate maybe a little smaller ive heard anywhere from 18-30" , ornate is almost always said to reach 24".

Ornate ontop teug on the bottom. Both look great but ornates to me stand out more than any other poly. Black and yellow

Ornates shouldnt be too hard to find wetspot usually has them as does monster aquarium

ornates are awesome, but Teugs are cool too. Glad to hear your poly is feeling better. Also your Teug is really pretty! Might be a good thing that you got a teug because sometimes people have difficulties with the temperament of ornates with other tankmates.

Remember epsom salt can be used as a laxative for people, so it should be used sparingly for fish.

Personally I like Teug better. Ornate are cool looking and both get big just teug stays a little slimmer, and Teug has a better diversity of color. I think anyway.

I've got both and do like my teug better but the best part is you can get both
