So should I try to put my Oscar in my 55g?

they need to be separated and both moved into larger tank(s) than a 10 gallon to grow properly. otherwise you'd pretty much have to do 25-50% water changes daily to make sure water quality remains ok and even then after probably no more than a month either fish would be too large for a 10g.

Just put my O in my 55g and he seems to be doing pretty well, just hope my JD likes him.

I hope so too. So have you given any thought to what you're going to do with the jag and oscar in a couple of months? Are the 10 and 55 the only tanks you have? Also is the stock list in your tank setup still correct with the 2 pacu, clown knife etc?

Trying to buy 125g next month, and going to get rid of pacu soon.

That is probably better, for now. Watch the Jack Dempsey, I have had problems with them damaging Oscars in much larger tanks than a 55g.

Need to do something with the jag soon also.A 3" parachromis will not do well in a 10 gal for long.

Sure if you want to get rid of all the other fish in that tank. Your stock list are horrible. Snowflake eels need saltwater, pacu need a huge tank, clownknifes need a huge tank, schombs need a huge tank, jags and oscars need AT LEAST a 75 and if you want to house them together you are going to need at least a 125.

Tank size is CRITICAL. Trying to hide information like that is only hurting yourself, and even though you might not think its important, it is the root cause of your problems. LISTEN when we try to help you!

I would put a divider in immediately. They are both fighting for dominance right now. Oscars and jags can work together, but only if you have enough space. How big is your tank?
