I have one tiger and one albino. I got the tiger first and added his now friend about three weeks after. At first they were very aggressive at each other and for awhile i was thinking about seperating them. but now they are buds. When i watch them it looks like they are proforming a secornized swimming act. they are competative during feeding. when i put food in they attack it like they've never been fed before. i also like telling my friends to try and pet them. yes they bite and its kind of funny! great pets. mine really arent that messy. i do notice a glittery mess of scales they burp up after they eat a feeder. they arent that old. prob like 5mouths. and im not sure if im feeding them enough or too much so if anyone has an in put please help cos im kind of winging it. and i would hate for my oscars to be hungry or overfed.

i have 2, one albino tiger and one albino ( thinking ruby red now ) and they are EXCELLENT cichlids! best investments i got! would never get rid of them! got them about 2 months ago at 4 and 4 1/2 now there 5 and 5 1/2 just about 6 inches!

love mine. started with a 1 incher from walmart, now hes 10+. i acquired a ruby from my buddy and threw him into my 75 about 3-4 months ago. aclimated good, fits in with the crowd fine. very defensive of their side of the tank and hate only 1 particular fake plant. feed by hand too

BUMP!

sstill have the same oscars! 6 and 6 1/2!
at night when i turn the lights off i hear splashing once in awhile, about 10 mins ago someone get angry and smashed the divider i have in there ( my pair of cons are on the other side with frys ) but i think my cons scared the oscars ( these are one mean pair of cons! and will NOT tolerate anything over on there side of the divider! when i didnt have a divider my cons would attack my oscars which are 3x there size! ) so ya, my oscars are laidback dogfish!

i have 2 lutino O's they are very sweet about 8 in.
they do not get live food. just floating pellets, once i got a new food that sank... these 2 fish let it hit them in the face and wouldnt eat it. they only like the floating stuff.. so funny.. and no fighting so far but they do get scared if something bangs in that room.. once thier tank broke i found them in 2 in of water filter screaming and i panicked.. filled a bucket as fast as i could then got them out, into the bucket.. i swear they layed down for 2 days. then when they got back into another one (that holds water) it took about 5 min. then they were ready to eat.. think they adjusted pretty good. thier my boys ( dont know sex) i call them O scar & O scar .. lol dont know why but it fits them.. they are my fevorite fisheys.. had 5 tanks and have downsized to 2 just so i can concentrate on them.. now on the hunt for a cheap priced 200 gal. tank for them 2 suckers and a cichlid (mbuna a yellow /black striped )
to be on white sand again..
i am having a great time with my O's... how bout everyone else? :)

mine use to let me hand feed him and he always like to dig up plants and push the big rocks in his tank around. he also broke a heater or two (which made me switch to stealth heaters) and a thermometer
