i agree with chris, its defo just a normal tiger, maybe the red will develope later, but also if there is aggression in the tank its likley hes stressed.
I picked up a Oscar similar to this at not my lfs but a store I was working near. I was hoping it was mislabeled and I got some kind of rare or wild caught oscar. I really liked the patterned and colors but unfortunately every day he looks more and more just like a regular tiger oscar and his yellow is almost completely changed to orange. Its strange that these oscars were breed to have the distinct orange markings and now we all want the wild look. anyways I hope you have better luck with yours then I did with mine.
Not yet..... But it's showing some yellow spots under its mouth and some clear marks in the body i will post some Pic tomorrow , btw its growing fast !!!!!!!! And it's super fat!!
