Oscar Pros I Need Your Help

Get mini pellets or small pellets to start. My O loved them right off the bat.

Cichlid bio gold and hikary carnivor sticks is all my O wants and now gets and he's grown like mad this past year. I'll post before and after pictures for you when I get a chance.

You'll love your O they are awesome.
 
2 Blocks of bloodworms. You buy them in snap out/pop out trays. They're commonly a 23cm cube, but just 1-2cm high.

Your oscar will always eat as much as it can, but dont feed it that much. Just enough to pooch its stomach.

Your filter doesnt sound like enough to keep up with an oscar. Consider a HOB filter or a good canister.
 
I just did'nt know you could get trays of blood worms also can't i just get two filters and they should do the job because later on when i get my job i want to get a bio filter i don't really know the name but is there such thing as over doing it when it comes to filters cause i was going to get this pretty big one cost about 200 bucks but it would be good to get two filters for me or will that stress the oscar cause once i think a about it might stress him.

too much filtration? no such thing! the more the better.

if it was me i'd use the current filter until i had enough for the bio filter.

dont spend money on another filter unless you have a sick tank/fry tank that you can use it for after.

when do u get the little guy?
