So I woke up this morning to a ramming sound that was occurring about every 5 seconds. My oscar is running into my filter pretty hard and has been doing so for about an hour. I assume he is trying to move the filter. Should I be worried about him breaking the intake? He has been pretty wild lately.
exactly why my oscar's tank is without a heater, i'm way too worried that he'll do something to bust a heater, and i don't have the cash to get an inline one. also very paranoid about just about any in tank heater these days, due to the reports of so many blowing.
thank goodness for free apartment heat! lol. i can turn up the room temperature and it keeps the tank at at least 75.
