the knife is like triple the size of the oscar ;)

i wouldnt chance it. calm with agressive doesnt sound too good

There are also other videos around having oscars in the same tank as BGK. Perhaps this oscar is a bit over aggressive. BGK also get quite aggressive sometimes, i don't know who started the fight. BGK usually stuns their prey with an electric discharge and eat them. I don't think the BGK was dumb enough to try to eat an oscar:ROFL:

you asked for opinions.. that is my opinion.. all kinds of things work... but this is an unlikely combination...

this may work and may not
.lets say my Oscar wont eat any goldfish but he will eat any other tropical fish that fits in his mouth.

i tried it in a 125g tank last year oscars where about 4" knife was 5-6" the oscars would always try to kill it if it came out of its cave i ended up giving it away

i seem to be getting alot of mixxed answers so looks like ill be doing some experimenting :D, if they get to aggressive ill seperate them

If the knife is as big as the oscar or bigger with a place to hide then it should be ok but i depends a lot on the individual fish!
