Oh Noddy, you are everywhere, like me! :-)

I read something that made me think you live in Florida, is that true?

Cheers,

J

No, i live in a small country called Holland, the Netherlands,if you please.:D
good to see you around!

I know, I have my fingers crossed. When the 240 tank is installed, if it becomes an issue, I will wall off a few feet for him, or move him to another tank and put something else in his place.

He has been in my tank about 2 weeks now, and personalities are starting to come out. The blood parrot isn't taking as kindly to the flowerhorn as the oscars have. The oscars could care less either of them are in the tank. The main contention comes in when the flowerhorn wanders into the blood parrot's territory or vice versa. Neither the blood parrot nor the flowerhorn care where the oscars go though. The oscars can wander into their territory and they are all OK with it.

I watched one little spat between the flowerhorn and the blood parrot and one of my oscars actually swam up to them and stopped the spat. It was interesting.

I know it's a different story, but i had a 10" Vieja in with my oscar and he eventually turned on my oscar, and did some significant damage overnight.
I had to rehome him, but doing that , made me realize i could at least do that.
Allways keep a very close eye on possible signs of agression.

Later on i took the risk of getting a second oscar, with the thought in mind, that rehoming was allways a possibility.
But now it turned out the oscars have paired up and are inseperable!
