nope.... only feed worms to new rays if that all they are eating... dont take me long to break them.... had a ray get parasites from feeding earthworms before.. i feed pellets, shrimp(freshwater), silver sides, smelts, clams, squid and anything else i can get them to eat... read my thread on breaking rays to new foods... you have these rays long enough that they shouldnt need black worms anymore... i throw a hand full of shrimp under my faucet (cold water) let it hit them for 2 min then start to peel... take knife slice and dice....
Hots,
Try changing the direction of the current. (aim it lower)
For my large rays I don't peal the shells off the shrimp & they still inhale 'em,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,actually your Steve ate 'em with shells when I had him.
I was under the impression that night crawlers were very good for rays?
five of my rays are from wild, and were very skinny when i got them so i wanted to fatten them up with what ever they would eat before trying your methods.
they are now all fatter but some do not like silver sides,a few don't like shrimp, and they all seem to love the school of neons that were in the tank.
