A lid over the sump? I have a cover for it, i just have to cut it so it'll fit over the drawers. I'd like to put doors on the stand as well as a back. I ordered a bunch of bio balls so that may help a little with the splashing in the drawers. (I have them in the drawer now, but there's a lot more room for more and my local store ran out). I might have to also cut bigger holes in the tops of the drawers it seems that not all the water is flowing through and coming off the tops like a waterfall.

Or you could use scrubbies. More bang for your buck.

Do you have your drawers on a stand or is the bottom drawer in the water?

I'm in classes all day. I got 100 bio-balls for $9. Was offered 120 scrubbies for $39.99. I'd have to say the bio balls are cheaper. The I added a third drawer, and that one is in the water. There's nothing in there but some fish tank rocks to keep it from floating.

My overflow is just putting enough water out for the pump, it's almost not enough. Is that ok, or should I make adjustments?
