After keeping several LFS style dovii in the past( mutts) I have finally found some nice Costa Rican dovii off of a very reputable buddie of mine. I have gotten a male and a female and I plan to keep these fish long term... As in for their whole lives. They are in a 240 gallon 8x2x2 as of now. I am using this thread as a way of holding me accountable for keeping this pair long term....as I normally get tired of my cichlids every few years or just decide to switch them for something new. So, I have decided I am going to upload either one or a few pictures per month each month to record their growth etc...I may even post a YT video every few months. I will be documenting growth feeding habits and spawning etc and really stay on top of this pair. I am not asking for tips on keeping them etc just wanting to hold myself accountable for keeping this pair long term.
