Send me those Loisellei fry! Ken

PM inbound.

Kool, I just ordered two male Nicaraguan Dovii from Ken yesterday. Right now I have a 4.5" male Nicaraguan from Rapps. I live right here in the Cackalack also. Once I get two more tanks and start my Dovii army, maybe you can come check them out. By then they will be eating feeder pit bull puppies. lol

Thanks. I still want a 100% confirmed freddy. I still have doubts as to my freddy/loiselli. None are available that I know of. I hope Ken Davis or Jeff Rapps will get some soon. Maybe someone else here has some good freddy fry that can send me some? :naughty: I'll try and get some new photos tonight.

The dovii both made it through the night unscarred. The female is still hiding. The male comes out to swim around once in a while. I've seen him eat, so that's reassuring. So far, so good. :)

By the way, I really don't think I'll be able to judge any level of success with this addition for at least a year and a half. I feel like the dovii needs to be pretty big and not have murdered to have any sort of success. Progress beyond a couple of years is still a giant unknown quantity.

As far as that goes, my other goal of having fry be able to survive to grow out is going well. I've got five or so hatched back in August 2008 still hanging around. They are starting to look like what they're supposed to look like. They're definately bigger than 1 1/2", but they hide a lot so it's hard to tell.

With that said, I really don't know what I'll do if it gets to the point that even some of the fry start to regularly make it through.
