i believe they are the F0 cenote escondido freddies just like the ones MO has

This is why the whole freddy/loiselli ID thing gives me fits. The fishes in that link look just like my solo loiselli/freddy. You've seen the one I'm talking about. Some are very easy to differentiate, like QueenslandeR's freddy. Others, like mine not so much. Different days, different colors and all that.:nilly:

I'd really like to avoid big shipping charges. Ken Davis is close enough that shipping is cheap. I'll probably wait for him to have some more. And I've got enough to concentrate on at the moment that I think I'll put off getting some freddys for the immediate future. Priority number one for right now is ensuring this dovii doesn't get torn to shreds until he gets big enough to protect himself (maybe 6" or so). But if some freddys were to fall in my lap, I'd take them.

Here's a mini update...

The RT is going to my neighbor's tomorrow (payback for that giant Oscar he gave me a while back). The female dovii has been in constant hiding since going in. I've only seen her a couple of times, just a glimpse going from one hiding spot to another. The male, on the other hand, is now swimming around like he owns the place, lol. He seems to know where the "danger zones" are around the jag and loiselli fry and avoids them. The big jags and loisellis (both with fry) are the only ones that pay him any attention. The little texas (from my other thread) follows the male dovii around like that big bulldog and little dog in those old looney tunes. They're pretty brave if you ask me.

Here's some shots I took tonight. I can't wait for tomorrow because this guy gets better looking every day (just like me).

And here's a little something else. I've had this L14 (Goldie Pleco or Sunshine Pleco) for six months now. When I got him, he was 1 1/2". He's now 2 1/2", very slow grower. I was hoping to put him in the big tank, but it looks like it'll be a while.

Also in the shot is a synodontis I got today at Petsmart. It's a decorus x multipunctatus hybrid, I think they called it a "Zebra Synodontis". I had wanted another S. eupterus for clean up duties in the big tank. But when I saw this one, I got him instead. I think he's really cool. According to Petsmart tag, max size is supposed to be 8" to 10". These are being discontinued and are currently on sale ($14). So, if you want one get it now. If anyone can give me an idea on expected growth and atitude for him I'd appreciate it. I hope it'll be similar to my eupterus.

Oh, the white specs in the photos are food/waste that gets stuck in the algea on the back of the tank. Sorry if it's distracting. You can click on the photos for a larger version. Thanks again for looking and thanks for this great forum. I couldn't do what I do if it were not for this place.;)

Kevin, if you want some big Euripterus, I have a pair that used to live with my frontosa, I'll make you a deal on them, they are about 8". My fronts were 12-16" and they did fine with them. Couple batches of fry for trade would work. Ken
