Paralabidochromis Chromogynos "Zue Island"

mine came last week and all came healthy and looking as good as you seen in the pic.
they are all about 1 inch at this time. the more i look at them the more im facinated by the pattern, i have one with a circle around one eye. i heard that they are rather peaceful and so far this seem to be true. i doubled my species of victorians that i keep last week. and got in the chromo..., pundi red flank, marcephala, and some kyoga flame backs . bout out of them all im really liking the chromo...
 
Cool...I am excited about mine too. I also got 4 of the flamebacks...I lost my male couple weeks ago and have 5 females that are useless without a male. I ordered 4 hoping for a male or 2. I asked Dave to use his "psychic" abilities to get me a male. How big were the flamebacks? Since I'm sure mine will all be the same size as yours.

Why do you say this? Because of OB peacocks? There are quite a few pied species from Lake Victoria.

very cool find. I always have a huge list of stuff that I want from Dave's.
 
not shur what your reffreing to about being to hybred for your taste, but i can guarentee you that the fish spoken of either the flame backs or the chrom... arent any where near hybred, maybe what your used to seeing is from diluted strains or what ever. i happen to know that the kyogas that he is selling are from excellent stock and so are the chrom...

what are you talking about, all i said is they are a little to hybrid LOOKING for my taste but there still cool, lol
 
Whatever, everyone has their own taste. :) I think he's just saying they remind him of OB peacocks. Which I think are pretty anyways.

What colors are yours? I've seen different pics where they all look a little different. I really like the ones that appear to be black and white/silver. I think the males look beautiful with that and then the red and blue in their fins.
 
i have one male who shows alot of white and two males that show less white. im hopeing that the white will be more dominant the bigger they get.
