Paralabidochromis Chromogynos "Zue Island"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im looking at several things one being behaviour, and the other being the yellowing on the anal fin and its shape the males seem to have a longer flowing anal fin. by the way two of mine seem to be turning the white color. hoping for things to come

That is awesome if they turn more white then the yellow. I hope mine do too. They are still pretty with the yellow but the white one's I have seen are just stunning.

they look great! we will have to continue to share info, i seen one little female in the pictures, mine have settled in nicely and have begun settleing the pecking order.
they are housed with kyoga zebra and flame backs, and red finned piebald, in a 1oo gal.

By the way I LOVED your pic of the red finned piebald. It was stunning. Do they all look like that? The pics I had seen before looked different. I would love some of these also..With yours being housed with the Zue Island, do you have to worry about them spawning with them since they are both piebald? As I said I would really love some of these but they would have to be housed with the Zue Islands and the Xy. Kyoga Flamebacks.

i moved them into a tank with my blue bar pundi and kyoga zebras, i think they were a little to much, since i moved them the chromygnos have begun establishing territory, and the kyoga flame backs seem happier as well. so i think ill keep it as it is for now.

That just makes me sad...With these and any/all other things on this list. It makes you look at your fish different...Not that they came from the wild but just looking at them and knowing how endangered they are...Sad. Thanks for posting that.

How are your guys doing? Also, how big are yours? I have 2 that are close to 2" (not quite) and a couple that are only about 1" and then a couple in between.

They are doing GREAT!!! Can't wait to put them in my big tank. They are still in the 16 gallon...thought I'd leave them there for a little bit. There are a couple small ones that I would like to get a little bigger before moving. I think I have 3 males so far...2 for sure. I just hope the other 4 are females. How are yours doing? Any more pictures of your guys?

they are thriving,
im gonna get some more that suposedly are from a diffrent strain. ill post some more pictures later.
