Gerbers Saltwater Warehouse has a big vat full of them, between 20 and 30, I watched them go from being jam packed in a 20 gallon all the way into the vat, well over 20"+. Not sure of the price but you can call and he doesnt ship. Store is in Dayton, Oh

Great! That will be interesting. So you are one of the two buyers of the Pangasius larnaudii http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=1352 from Affordable Aquarium Solutions...

Sorry, Affordable Pet Solutions.

You are talking paroons, right?

look how they sale paroons here in jordan !! like 30 fish in a 10g tank !!!!!!! there is all sizes paroon in a common fish here

Yes Paroons, supposedly he is one of the few that can import them, or was able to at the time.
Wow. That sounds so rare for an LFS to have 20-30 20"+ paroons. Likely, this is the only one in the US. And ironically, it is not even a freshwater LFS, at least by the name :)

MasterB, sounds like you visit that place sometimes. Next time you are there, please, if you will, ask the owner if they are for sale or for display/attraction or what the story is? They will keep growing and will get at the very least to 3'... I went to BGSU, Bowling Green, OH for 5 years, not far from Dayton but never made it there. Are you in the "Kentuckiana" area?

I'm in KNY. They are for sale, his place his expensive, if I was to guess from remembering the price, I would say between $199 and $299, but could be wrong. I can call today and ask him. He mainly deals with Saltwater but the freshwater side of the building is just as actually bigger than the saltwater side.

Seems like a tall tale to me 20-30 20"+ paroons in a 20 gallon tank. And then you woke up from your dream lol.
Why would anyone import in paroons this size had to be very expensive 1 per box. 20-30 boxes of paroons. To a store that mostly deals in Saltwater.

I think hes saying they started in a 20 and grew up at the store, guy probably bought a huge lot before ban and has been stuck

Still sound fishy to me but will give him the benefit of the doubt. There's no ban on these that I know of. They might be seasonal fish is why you only see them available certain times of the year. I like to see if they are Pangasius sanitwongsei. 20+ 20" sanitwongsei's in a vat in Ohio fish store someone who lives close should go and investigate!
