Beautiful macaw! I've always wanted one since I was a little kid but unfortunately my wife is not a bird person and told me "no".
 
Beautiful bird. I always feel kinda sorry for them though when they can't fly around.

lol no i was just saying if it were me i would totally rather have a bird than bugs in my house but im a bird person so i guess some people just dont like them lol

and just to rub it in, I have beetles AND a parrot! haha.
 
Beautiful bird. Lovely colors and she looks so adorable as well. I'd love to have a bird like that but sadly I don't have the money and with my dog I'm afraid something would happen and one of them would get hurt. I'll just have to settle for playing with my friends birds.

you just have to train your dog to leave the bird alone, my dog is about 40lbs and chases the wild birds outside whenever he gets the chance but he knows to leave my little green cheek conure alone and even if she is walking around on the floor he doesn't bother her (and a macaw has a MUCH larger beak than a little conure lol)

Haha, I am pretty sure that a macaw would train the dog for you; one bite and the dog would never go near her again.
