yeam but they are a realtively hardy fish... i dont think that would do much.....did you leave the fx5 running...?
well the bb in the fx5 will die and when you turn it back on it will kill the fish because dead BB gives of toxins
I have a ? how often do you take out all your media from your filter keep the sponge wet and alive and give the filter itself a good hot cleaning, I have found that stuff stuck on my hob sometimes is a cause for issue with my tank that have hob and find the fish breath much easier after I do a good clean on the filter body
I try to do a regular one time a month clean on the the sponge by squeezing it in tank water in a bucket but find that if I forget to do the total filter body clean it eventually messes up the water chem.

it's been off for about 30 minutes now, I got it yesterday, it ran for no longer than 20 hours total, I bought it brand new, hooked it up last night and took off my AC 110. Between me going to bed and getting home tonight my fish went south quick. I did water test, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10ppm Nitrate, ph 6.8-7
