I soak shrimp in garlic ,I feed it right away.

Tried to feed the oscars with the garlic soaked food and they didn't even care so I'm going to try to get some general cure tomorrow and see if anything will improve

It could. Have to watch the pbass’s poop as well especially if they stop eating.

Just a few minutes.

Should I put it in the fridge?

No need. Just soak a few minutes and feed.
