ash they make sirens for alarms that are backed up by there own battery and you can have a hood switch installed to trip the alarm as well... i had that siren and it is great cause when they find it and cut the wires its stay blasting for a good 15 Min....

Ugh, I know how you feel. My hubby's 240 was stolen and stripped, then he found it and brought it home..he was so depressed, he said he wished he'd not found it. It's a really crappy feeling having anything stolen from you.
