cry me a river man, you work at a fish store, people do have stupid things to say. our non chain pet stores are mean, the owners are jackA**s i cant stand it, but they do have alot of oddball fish. but that is the only reason i put up with them. Just do your job and like it that is about all i can say.

one time at my big al's, this guy came in and knew absolutely nothing about fish, so he found the manager, and got him to take him all around the store to look at everything from fish to filters. Anyways, he looks at this show tank that had some angelfish, parrot cichlids, a betta, and some tetras i think, and goes, are these saltwater? then the manager tells him that its a freshwater tank and he goes, even this one? guess what he was pointing to........the friggen betta

Anyway, he ends up buying the red devil that i wanted, and got suckered into buying a 90 gallon tank just for her.

P.S. this lasted over an hour, and the whole time i was waiting to ask the manager if he could order in some betta imbellis for me

Speaking of idiots here is one for ya. I work for a Hardwood flooring manufacturer and I train Lowes employees on our product. Well I went into one of the Lowes here in Texas with our products and we have a line that is Handscraped/distressed. Well the employee looks at me and looks at the handscraped and asks me why I brought them damaged product. I told him that it is not damaged, its handscraped, he looked at it again and said " that looks like sh*t". I laughed because this is the best selling hardwood floor on the market today. Even funnier is that the next morning he called my company to tell them that I brought old damaged product to the store and they were not going to sell it until I got nice smooth product in. Hmmm... I will trade you for a day in my life.

haha do my job and like it? I dont have too I dont work for a corporate wwhore of a store. Like ive said before I can tell people to swaller a big pile of my feces and unless Im wrong which usually im laid it takes alot to piss me off the owner has my back. Like if someone said to me do your job and like it id off them a job plantin tulips. just so were all together plantin two lips on whatever part of my anatomy i feel like saying at any given time.
