I really really REALLY have to go, but I want to touch on this...

Del, whats with the inconsistency? In the OT, there are stories of a great flood killing the sinners, of a city destroyed b/c of sinners, yet when someone like Hitler comes around, God does nothing?

Del, I also wanted to clarify something. I am not trying to attack you. I was born and raised Roman Catholic, and in the past 3 or so years have SERIOUSLY questioned my "beliefs". I quote beliefs, b/c at this point, I don't really have any religious beliefs. I am focusing in on you b/c you are very knowledgeable in this subject, and I am sincere when I say that I want to learn. Sorry if I seem harsh.

To be continued, off to my dinner date.....

adam and eve had the purest bloodlines, it would take several thousand generations before there bloodlines became more and more corrupted by sin and made highly suceptable to disease and defects which we have today.

as for the matter of how did people spread about the earth.....

"The Bible does not explicitly give us the origin of the different "races" or skin colors of humanity. In actuality, there is only one race - the human race. Within the human race is a great amount of diversity in skin color and other physical characteristics. Some speculate that when God confused the languages at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9), He also instituted racial diversity. It is possible that God made genetic changes to humanity to better enable people to survive in different ecologies, such as Africans being better "equipped" genetically to survive the excessive heat in Africa. According to this view, God confused the languages, causing humanity to segregate linguistically, and then created genetic racial differences based on where each racial group would eventually settle, geographically. While possible, there is no explicit Biblical basis for this view. The races / skin color of humanity are nowhere mentioned in connection with the Tower of Babel.

After the flood, when the different languages came into existence, groups that spoke one language moved away with others of the same language. In doing so, the gene pool for a specific group shrunk dramatically as they no longer had the entire human population to mix with. Closer inbreeding took place, and in time certain features were emphasized in these different groups (ALL of which were present as a possibility in the gene code). As further inbreeding occurred through the generations, the gene pool got smaller and smaller, to the point that people of one language family all had the same or similar features, and it would be a rarity when a different feature arose.

Another explanation is that Adam and Eve possessed the genes to produce black, brown, and white offspring (and everything else in between). This would be similar to how a mixed-race couple often has children that vary greatly in color from one another. Since God obviously desired humanity to be diverse in appearance, it makes sense that God would have given Adam and Eve the ability to produce children of different skin tones. Later, the only survivors of the Flood were Noah and his wife, Noah’s three sons and their wives, eight people in all (Genesis 7:13). Perhaps Shem’s, Ham’s, or Japheth’s wives were of different races. It is possible that Noah’s wife was of a different race than Noah. Maybe all 8 of them were of mixed race, which would mean that they possessed the genetics to produce children of different races. Whatever the explanation, the most important aspect of this question is that we are all the same race, all created by the same God, all created for the same purpose."

in the context of creation of races look at all the types of dogs different sizes colors, hair types body styles are they all not of the same species (Canis lupus familiaris)?

why do you hold god responsible for the sinful actions of men when it was by there own choice?

The will is the act of the mind choosing when a person makes a choice.

in every act of the will a preferance ressessarily came first two things to choose from, one is desire over another therefore the human will is submissively servant. there is always something that percieves the desicion of our will to act. Namely our desire and our prefernces, they always come first. The will is servant to our inclination or preference of the person which makes it easy to conclude if the will is servant, it can hardly be free now can it?

"anyone who sins is a slave to sin"
- john 8:34

God is eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, etc. Why should we human beings (not eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent) expect to be able to fully understand God’s ways? Could i ever understand every aspect of you as a person? even your mind? no i cant, and you are finite.

God is good, just, loving, and merciful, he is light for there is no darkness in him. Often things happen to us that we simply cannot understand. However, instead of doubting God's goodness, our reaction should be to trust Him. Which i finally do.

God is sovergn meaning he is in control of EVERYTHING! nothing happens on this earth (and in this universe)that is not out of his control, everything he does is for his own purpose, glory, and the good of those who trust and believe in him, even the wicked and the evil have a purpose in him and for us. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

and thats a pathetic way to explain something... god should not allow them to do it.... and if it is part of his grand plan then that is one F'ed up god that plans for children to be raped ... after all everything in our life is part of his grand plan....

Now lets take a different look at all this.... look at Greek Mythology and how the Greeks had a god for everything.... why did they have a god for all these things lightning thunder rain water sun etc.... cause nobody could explain why these thing were happening.... no person can explain death so this brings god if you want to be technical we are all going to live in heaven if we are good... that could also go back to medieval times might be before that but when the religion fully came into effect with god and hell cause there was chaos every where i might be off on my time frame there....

Greek mythology is embodied explicitly in a large collection of narratives and implicitly in representational arts, such as vase-paintings and votive gifts. Greek myth explains the origins of the world and details the lives and adventures of a wide variety of gods, goddesses, heroes, heroines, and other mythological creatures. These accounts were initially disseminated in an oral-poetic tradition; the Greek myths are known today primarily from Greek literature.

We do not get into heaven by being "good". We are saved by faith and grace, not good works.
There is no one who does good, no, not one - Psalm 14:3

all have sinned and fallen short of gods glory, and the wage for sin is death. So we truely deserve death and hell (eternal death).
