all i know is that no matter what this aint no puppy, these things have evolved to be africa's #1 predator. the spotted hyena's take down more prey than lions do, with lions often chasing of the hyena's for a free meal.
they'd pop your leg in half if they felt like it.
maybe you should look into it more, i could be wrong. for some reason the wife keeps saying no hyena's, crocodile's, and get this no turtles, they freak her out.

Hyenas are one of my FAVORITE animals, I don't think I would ever attempt to keep one as a pet though! My mom has a dog that looks like a hyena to me, I need to get a pic or adopt it from her! l love that thing!
