Thanks. :D
On a side note...do you (or anyone else) happen to know where to get a vulturine guineafowl?

EDIT: I just noticed that hatchery sells cranes.
Is that legal to have in california? I can't seem to find any list of what birds are, and aren't legal in CA..

I feel your pain...when i was little i saw some geese and decided to chase them...only..they didn't run away LOL I was terrified, and ran...served me right for teasing them i guess.

Aren't swans pretty aggressive birds? People usually give them a wide berth when they encounter them on land. From what I observed, too, they like to stay in the water. Quite a beautiful sight - makes you think of those children's book illustrations......

YES! My school has a few black swans and they are NASTY. However, if one were imprinted to you, it would probably at least tolerate you

i dont know about swans but i had a canada goose ,and it would fallow me 24 7. it was realy cool. i bet a swan would be the same. also it was about week or two old when i got him.

swans are awesome creatures, and im sure it'd be great if it was tame and nice with you :)

dont get a male, if you can help it, because it will probably chase you. and geese crap ALL OVER THE PLACE, a goose will poop every 15 min for all of its life. if you work with it pretty often it will tame down and follow you around, but it will poop EVERYWHERE, and be careful because fecal coliform can build up in small ponds as a result of goose poop.

a swan would make for a pretty awesome pet
]y[onster bird keepers assemble! :D
