Alrighty then. I work there also, have defended the employee's, at least mine, and disagree with a lot of what has been said. duncan33, what exactly are you trying to say because that statement just set back every positive thing that has been said about the company and its staff.

they are so stupid they sell the malawis as astd malawis and claim they are all aggresive and you have to explain to the employes that there is a massive selection of cichlids in lake malawi which alll have different temerment and its ridiculous to classify them all as the same fish.

If they are really aggressive, ask them why do you keep them together in one small tank section???

The situation between keeping the fish in a private owner's tank and LFS tank is different. You will see that most of the time Rift Valley tanks are overcrowded to curb aggression.

And honestly the corporate training sucks . . . basically its fish swim in water. . . and goldfish are dirty.

I disagree. They don't hire idiots. The problem is you can't expect them to be fish nerds like most of us here. The people many stores hire are just not fishkeepers most of the time. And obviously, most serious fishkeepers are not going to work at a petsmart for $7 an hour just for the love of fish.
