Back in my early days of fish keeping, I got what was displayed as being a “flower horn” but in reality turned out to be a black convict. The price difference on these two fish was 20$ which isn’t a lot considering how much flowerhorns normally go for, but still... AT MOST!!! It’s possible in some rare universe on the edge of the galaxy of insanity, maybe just maybe she’s offspring of a black convict bred with a flower horn, but I highly doubt it. Either way I don’t love her any less she’s still my “jade” (her name) but just another reason to not shop at “pestmart” (I spelled it that way on purpose...)
