Petsmart jag...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I bought 2 for 1 dollar and 13 cents each.

I will go take pics of him now, he's a monster in training, very very nice. Of course I picked a male and a female, what are the odds!!! Girlfriend has the female and its about 4 inches and I have the male and he is at least 6+.

Heres the pics. I think he is a male, because he is more brown and has more spots than the other (and the other is more yellow colored with a more definite lateral line).

EDIT: sorry I didn't know I added that last pic of the oscar, just disregard that.

Thanks! I may have just gotten lucky. He is a friendly fellow too.

mmmmmm i wouldn't count on being that lucky ;)

Wow poopsmart! Thanks for the VERY reassuring pictures! I will definitely pick one up when I get the tank going, and pray that it looks as good as yours. How long have you had it?

Someone gave me a little jag from petsmart. So far I'm happy with it. It's a nice looking little fish!

sometimes you can find a great fish at petsmart if you look hard enough, most of the time you are just gonna get decent grow outs though. That jag looks pretty good though.

My GT from PetSmart looks great. Petco, on the other hand, is terrible. Last time I was there, they had a beautiful Green Texas that looked like it was a turn in, stuck in half a divided tank with a massive oscar (it looked old or sick) that might have been large enough for one of them. The oscars that were for sale were infected with Ich, and a few were on their backs, almost dead. NOT GOOD.
