Petsmart jag...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My petsmart Jag looks just like yours. All the ones I have seen look great!

mine looks good your not going to get the best fish but a nice one wouldn't be hard to find

I think mine is maybe 4 months old? Maybe. I think it might be less. I had them in half a 55 gallon but like I said they swam through the divider, so I grew them out in a 10 on guppy mix (flake, FD bloodworms, etc.). Then I put mine into a 75, and he is very outgoing, but not aggressive.

With sevs, oscar, and a snook. Eats cichlid gold and the very occasional market shrimp.

Is the jag in your avatar the one from petsmart?

go for it, petsmart fish are fine if they are healthy. P-smart goldsaums always turn out well.

Really? goldsaum is a wannabe GT correct? Sorry im a cichlid noob..

I don't think the fish in his avatar is a jag. The one in mine however was purchased from a lfs.

I got my old Jag from there and he turned out pretty good...

oscars at petsmart are the ugliest things but i bought my 2 from petsmart when they were babies so its all good. the ones that i see now have extremely faded colors and scars and holes in their bodies like they came from a shootout.
