They had em here at a Petsmart near Detroit Mi. But they were done in limited supply. I'm happy with mine that I purchased from a LFS. He's about 7"s, not deformed and looks amazing in person. I bought him when he was 4"s for 35 bucks. Well worth it IMO.
same here :D

its because everyoneand their dog is breeding them now.

Mine are 20 to 25 dollars at my lfs. for 1- 2 inch. But great quality.

It will be interesting to see what kind of quality petsmart will put out lol.

thanks for the info

ya they have um at petco were i live but for 25

Why are you all so excited for this?? This is terrible! All the work people put into strengthing them and now petsmart is going to introduce these crap quality weak blues.... This is defiantly at least 10steps backwards...

No one knows what quality they will be, but it was super limited. The Taylor Mi store only got 3 in the initial delivery and never got anymore. The one guy that works there said they're extremely limited as to how many each store will get.

People should remember, you're going to get what you pay for with these fish. Go through breeders and spend the extra money, you wont be sorry when they grow up healthy and not deformed.

I just can't shop at petsmart without thinking I'm infecting my tank. I once told a manager at a petsmart that their silver dollars had ich and he responded with, "well, all fish always have ich, they just aren't always showing spots." I then asked if he was going to qt the fish or treat, but he said "no, we won't do anything because all our filtration is connected and it doesn't make sense for us to treat all our tanks either." I dislike when one of my favorite fish ends up in a petstore not capable of caring for fish correctly, whether it's cheaper for me our not. :(

I agree with the later ppl in this thread, as if it wasn't hard enuff to find healthy EBJD's. Petsmart IMO is a bad place to buy fish. From their single pump systems that are connected to their feeder fish to the acid juiced African cichlids and Blue Oscars to the dead fish floating in the top of the tank covered in Cotton Wool.

But like someone else said "You get what you pay for."
