We raised Ringnecks, Wild Turkeys, Partridges, geese, ducks and chickens when I was a teenager. We never clipped wings. Used a setup similar to a chicken coop (for each species) but the outdoors area was completely enclosed wire screening with a wire screened top appx 7 foot tall. The ring necks will pick on each other damaging the plumage. So its best to use blinders on them. They will block the view straight on but allow for peripheral vision. We raised babies from incubated eggs. As a kid it was pretty cool to watch them hatch and grow as hatchlings. All were quite tasty also.........
