A couple things from my experience. First of all you can definitely keep a male jag by himself comfortable in a 90g for life. Also, I think your set up looks really cool but would greatly benefit from a black background. It would really bring out the color in your fish as well as the flowing reed thingies that look really cool. Just my $.02.

I think you may be right. I will try one of those roll out black ones and see how I like it.

You'rs is only 9" in 5 years? What size tank are you keeping it in..? Mine grew from 2" to 5" in 2 months in a 55gallon loaded with other fish, then I sold him.

I would like to know also....thats stunted majorly....mine went from 3" to 9" his first 4 months in my 220 and didnt eat much the first month he was there...
