In a power failure, doesn't your sumps over flow?

I was thinking the same thing. your water level in your sumps are scaring me

Actually it doesn't I don't fill past that acrylic line that supports that drawer when I open it. When the power goes out the water level will rise close to very top but does not go over.

People think that when the power goes out a reverse flow is created and drains the water into the sump. My overflows and returns are pretty high up so when the power goes out it only sucks up a little water but stops at a certain point.
