If I were in your position, I would just tell him that either it needs to be shipped, or it needs a larger tank, and explain to him that it is animal cruelty to keep it in such a small freshwater tank.Snook000;4670313; said:Yeah no one asked about it because my dad won't let me ship it.
it can hold the JD for life but thats itSkySouza;4469653;4469653 said:you are heavily overstocked.
fish never stop growing.
that 55 isn't big enough for any of those fish for life even if they were kept singularly.
it's cruel to keep em in a tank that small. sure you've heard this before but that's like keeping a german shepherd in a crate for it's life.
on a positive note. it's good that you are over filtered otherwise your fish would be floating upside down however that does not make up for the fact that the fish don't have enough room.
also your fish do look healthy and the tank clean so two thumbs up but you definately need to upgrade or sell some fish
No, it could hold an EBJD for life, but not a regular JD. JD's can get to about the same length as that tank's width (which is not enough room for a cichlid), but EBJD's don't get much longer than 8".JacobWhitley;4670616; said:it can hold the JD for life but thats it
Gymnothorax tile, aka "freshwater" eel. Although it is commonly known as the freshwater eel, they are actually a brackish species that is capable of migrating into freshwater temporarily, but should not be kept permanently in freshwater.brutonsbrew;4670697; said:what kind of eel is that
