lol. I remember a few back in the day, but mods, myself, and other dedicated fishkeepers squashed a lot of those. I think everyone is guilty of flaming from time to time though. Gets hard when you see such beautiful creatures kept in poor conditions. I personally think that a rtc would be able to live a full life in a 6x4x2 for a long time, but you'd have to be really dedicated on water changes and have a huge filter. 8x4x3 would probably be the smallest that I would ever consider keeping one in for life, and 10x5x3 would be perfect. My dream tank that I will hopefully be building next year will be more like 15x12x5. 2ft will be underground and it will have a 3ft windown at just above ground level. Might even have several windows.

yea, this is a very fun reading thread.

Jst wonder where is the RTC today? is more likely 2 years away frm this thread....

normally just feed them just enough for a day as it will throw up sometime. It just dun know when to stop eating. If it ever throw up, I have to change the water... It seem happy in the 2ft tank, only the sucker try to suck on it and so it slam the sucker. It has make the 2ft tank it home and rom about every part of it... the best part of it is that I sometime can hand feed it...since i bought it when it was 3" now it about 12" plus... cant wait till it get 3ft...

Yep a cant wait 2:screwy:
