Im getting pretty tired of the kids at the lfs telling me that pictus cats will grow to 12 inches.
I use to have 4 in my 300gal, largest was bout 8-9 inches and he died along with one of the other ones. I have had two in there the last 2-3 years and the largest is maybe 6-7 inches.
ok but if you do it make sure you set strict perameters about pictus only. Cause i cant tell you how many times P. blochii is called a pictus when honestly the two look nothing a like, and blochii grows basically twice the size and is really not a cat to be kept in groups when they get older, where pictus is almost a must to keep in groups.Diskboy12;2538126; said:I'm getting a few for my 55 so we should totally set up a |\/|onster Pictus club!

PS. sorry if that comes off as kinda mean or rude. Its finals week and studying 6 hours a day isnt doing much for my ability to sensor myself.
