so youve had many different themes all in the same tank? they are all beautiful. do you keep them in an apartment? i was going to do three separate 180g tanks in a fish room (section of basement floor). i drew up a picture of it if reference need be. one tank will be red bellied piranhas (pacu's i would need a giant tank to keep, so i ruled them out quickly). my other tank will be mbuna. and this tank is semi aggressive (which weve discussed).

yeah i have a dream to have a fish room in a large section of my basement. with three 180 gallon tanks. and possibly another large saltwater tank for the gf. now all im left to figure out if how many mbuna and what kinds can go into the other tank, but thats another thread. great looking tank though. and many thanks for the advice.

im afraid i wont have pictures of that room for like 6 years..... but i have pictures of my existing tank. but its just tetras and an angel. i added a male swordtail tonight but i have no pictures of him.

yeah. i thought about getting a small tank for a betta, but id just end up with more than i can handle and need. me and my gf are gonna custom build a house someday and id like to have a fish room in the basement, where i like to spend most of my time, i like the cold. hopefully moving to minnesota or north dakota one day. i was going to keep pacu's in a tank until i found out id need a 1500 gallon tank, and thatd kill my options completely. but i think id be able to make a nice setup with three freshwater tanks and maybe a saltwater tank. i have a few pics of my existing tank. i have a small 10g tank, but since i will be moving out soon, im gonna move its small filter to my big tank, for some extra filtration. so im gonna pack up that tank since i cant afford it cuz of the big tank and its really not worth it so yeah. heres the pics

p.s. buddha is right side up now.
