I'd rather be knocked unconcious from a swift blow to the head than have my skull slowy crushed. Also, a Tokay doesn't really have a lot of jaw pressure so it would probably take a few attempts. Most of the time they don't always get them on the head in the first bite and then there's a lot of mouse biting. The mouse gets thrown across the cage a few times etc. It can be pretty brutal sometimes. In cases with bigger mice I always like to feed pre killed or f/t for the safety of the lizard.
