People have also caught snakeheads and asian carp here in CO, and when I was fishing at some ponds by my house some people told me they releashed oscars into it. Idiots.
The water gets too cold in CO during the winter for tropical fish to live though.

Well Tx parks and wildlife tried to say my 13in red belly pacu was a red belly pirranha and my common snapper was a alligator snapper. Idiots and to think it takes a degree to work for Tx P&W and I know more then most of them do without college.

I wouldnt go THAT far...

F&G and P&W dont know everything, but they know a lot of stuff, they dont just sit and shoot spitwads in class all day, they also have to know all the hunting and fishing regs, how to identify all game species and a lot of non-game species, and on top of all that need fire arms training, and extensive first aid

Sometimes I just dont get people. Oscars need 70+ degree water, and it gets to mid 30s in the winter....and they think that its good for the fish...

I would love an asian aro, if they were legal and I could afford one! But its not even worth argueing w/ people like that, because they think they're right, even though there is a big fine for releasing fish into a body of water that it didnt come from. Your not even allowed to catch a fish in one lake and release it into another. Now we have pike in some lakes in the mountains, and they are eating all the trout that get stocked into them! The pike grow huge, but theres not many trout in some of the lakes anymore!

once it's legalized tell me and i could get you one for a very reasonable price. since US does not allow it yet... i wouldn't like to risk it .. just for a fish... get in jail. never mind. might as well sell it to other countries.
