Piranha in foreign waters

not sure but seems to me it wouldnt be a threat to much (like something that eats excessive vegetation that supports smaller organisms) just another sustainable food source of savage sun fish for local game fish and other wildlife if a population was to thrive like alot of other much larger nonindigenous cichlids and other species which would also be higher on the food chain but i doubt it
the point is, chances are high that red bellies can get into non native rivers and have a breeding population than rhoms.
And......what is your actual point? This whole thread has been about RBP rulez and Rhom sucks whole time.
Lol, this one is mild compared to his other thread. Remember all of us piranha keepers were going to be disappointed and mad again because of his facts
I never said they were breeding I said I've seen them in canals and In the ever glades but only two and I know of two in a pond out side broward college north campus I don't really think of pacus as a danger to are Eco system I haven't seen them in big enough numbers

piranhas are piranhas...any true piranha lover would love both of them. I think this is because u cant get rhoms and want make yourself feel better by trying make RBPs look better. Nothing wrong with that, I understand it can be hard to get them in a less fish oriented country like Russia, I feel ur pain as I lived in Poland. However I admit u could get a large angelfish for wat is equivalent to two dollars over there, prices un heard of in Britain.
