my gar is about 20 inches and my oscar is at least 11 inches. They get along great. I feed them all by hand so everyone gets food and there is no fights

Because he doesn't even have a tank big enough for a gar let alone a pacu which grows quick and needs min 180 and will outgrow that pretty quick as well. I get what your getting at but this guy obviously doesn't have the means to house one

dude i can house one just fine. i don't want a pacu otherwise i would get one .i have been taking care of fish for 8 years. i know plenty. i am going to school for field biology so it kinda in my know. i have been taking care of larger aggressive fish for 2 years. i just wanted peoples opinions who have more experience. i don't need your rude comments
