This is Donatello, my first Raphael cat. I picked it up at an auction. It is the biggest one I have seen to date in all ways. Noting that it was dangerously obese I understand it may not last long but will do my best to give it the best home possible. I have noticed that it is very responsive to food. I have already started to limit how much I feed as anything that touches the bottom is gone immediately.

Last night I just picked up 3 more of these guys. I have them in a small quarantine tank. They were brought into the lfs 5 mins before I got there so I feel as if they may get sick if I just toss them in my main tank. The previous owners had to get rid of them because they weren’t allowed to have a fish tank where they lived. Apparently were bought a few years back at the same lfs.

They seem to be fairly healthy so far but I would rather be safe than sorry. Does anyone have any helpful tips on quarantine for these guys? I’m hesitant on using meds unless needed because I know lots of cats can be sensitive. Thanks in advance

Donatello is a great looking Raphael. Nice pickup's :) They look very healthy personally would just observe them without adding meds.
