o wait, nevermind i just relised that the pics make it look like its the back of the tank not the bottom. sorry.
dr joe i have a old 1.5ft x 1ft x 1ft tank i have no use for so i was thinking i would dismantle it and i could use that glass for the repair.
heres a quick diagram of what i was thinking.

also i was thinking i would still use the windscreen repair kit before i siliconed the glass in.

How thick is the glass? Should be 6.35mm ish. 3.185 won't do it.

#3 ... Can't tell how the fracture is going or if it will move, in the pix. From what I can see I would try it ($12) (you may have to draw a vacuum from the backside to draw it into the crack completely, and test outdoors of course.

I have used acrylic and silicone to fix a glass tank and had no problems bonding the 2 together....
I would just silicone in 2 peices of glass on the inside and silicone around them. Then do a test fill.
