1st bad part on the vendor 2nd when exactly did you recieve them? by your posting you got them today..

from personal experiance this is what i do and its worked everytime..i know some will disagree..

raise the temp to 88-90 degrees..use to medium airstones small water ciculator..

day one..use quickcure..

2nd day 45% wc replace the water then ad salt

3rd day repeat steps 1

4th day repeat 2nd day n so on..

from my person experiance its worked within a week..do ad guppies or tiny gf..cut the tails off to make them swin slow these guys need stuff in their belly to gain back their strength..cutting of the feeders tails will make them easier to catch..

good luck bro n really hope they pull threw..

btw thx for posting about the vendor, i'll never order from him..

I got these guys a couple days ago. They arrived very sick, weak, and covered with ich. They could barely swim normal. I will try your methoda bro. THANKS for your help and I am glad you are still in the hobby bro. I really like your Azul man, I should've bought your Azul instead of these sick kelberis man.

The first day I got these sick fish, I called the vender (FishInABowl) to let him know the situation and I wanted to handle this situation in a respectful way through private message. He refuses to help me and makes up lame excuses everytime.

PLEASE BEWARE of this VENDER (FishInABowl) He seems nice at first, but after he has your money, and if anything goes wrong, he will not help you out like the other venders.

That's pretty crappy of the vendor. I doubt they developed all that ich while shipping. Did he use heatpads?

When I called him and told him about the ich, he responded in a way where he was not even surprised!!! He knew they had ich before shipping!!!!:(

Hope everything goes good for you bro.... I would be piss to....

Thanks man........please learn from my mistake.....I should've ordered from the other well known venders

damn that sucks bad. I'm sure there's another side of the story from the Vendor but I'm wondering why he hasn't come on publicly to say anything. From the pictures alone they look on the verge of starvation. I hope they make a full recovery bro.

Don't wanna think/say anything bad about a vendor without any personal experience but its not looking good for him if this is the level of service he provides. I'll steer clear myself.

Yeah, they look to be in rough shape,I think I would have pooped my pants with rage and panic if the fish I recently ordered arrived in such conditions.I saw where you said that a heat pack was used but was it warm when you felt it? I'm thinking that it could have cooled prematurely and the resulting lowered temperature could have stressed the fish?

Personally I wouldn't dose them with any med. I keep my Cichlids at a temp of 92 on a regular basis. To just be clear you can take the advice you like. I would keep them as stress free as possiable. From your description it couldnt hurt to 10% W/C daily to keep the water crystal clear being sure the temp of the W/C is equal. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE MEDS! I have yet to hear the exact size of these cichla but cichla at this size can be very delicate to drastic and sudden changes causing stress which will promote ich to advance if 5'' and under as well as over medication. I am sure that you will do what you want. But I really wouldn't keep throwing food into the tank further fowling up the water. Just my opinion.
