I know that the tank is very small for the monsters.I'm not keen on installing sump filters for the tank. fluval x6 400g will do ? what size tank should I upgrade to house all the monsters when they are adults ??

8ft long 3ft wide 2 ft tall should suit your stock just fineNew dimension of the tank are 8f 2f 3f coming to a 348 gallon tank. And about gar i dont think I'll keep him in the new tank. Im going to give it up to some local aquarium.
forgot about the rest of his planned stockGolly, for that stocking list buddy you're going to eventually need at least a 450 gallon tank imho. Even just 3 Arowana in a 280 is really pushing it (that's if they get along), esp. when they get bigger. And good idea re: the gar![]()
