Your right i don't know very much at all. I was just giving the imput you should have. You are very knowledgeable when it comes to pbass i have seen your tanks. You should lend out a hand or maybe a pm to this guy in the right direction to get pbass. Instead of being rude to me

they dont magically speed grow in a week when above 3" and maybe he wants big ones so they wont become food.

But pbass grow quick and around here many people don't know what to do with pbass and they go for dirt cheap at large sizes.


I was not being rude by my post at all. I was simply trying to point out there are a lot of guys on here that know A LOT about pbass and can point him in the right direction. No one took the plunge to ask him what tank size or size he needed and why. Maybe my post will make him answer those questions so you more knowledgeable people can lend a hand and get this guy a real dealer with some good quality pbass for a good price.

wasnt trying to be rude, but you pretty much dismissed the fact that pbass prices vary considerably according to species, variant, size, and even what part of the world youre in. a $20 mono in cali could go for $70-80 in other states. and he wasnt really concerned about the initial price, it was the fact that the seller is trying to screw him

But at this point, i am just as knowledgeable as you are(in this situation). When i have only raised 2 pbass. Come on man, give this guy some real king cichla advise!

When you deal with private sellers here at MFK, as a buyer, one time I saw a fish and I offered him a lower price then what we agreed on because I was not satisfied on how the fish looked. Was I a cheater or being unfair? No, I just did not want to pay the price that we agreed on before. He and I could have walked away with no feelings hurt. So yea it goes both ways here. In my opinion, the seller or buyer can change things up during the transaction.
