pleco with pirahnas?

the piranhas are here, they are awesome, i will get some pics up as soon as they settle down (i have the lights out and a blanket over the tank to keep em' calm)

piranhas are opportunists not nessesarily overly aggressive fish. Nobody can tell you this WILL work because of the nature of piranhas but its definetly possible given the plecos are healthy and aware. just keep a close eye on all the fish over the first few days.

only one piranha showed any interest in the plecos, and its my smallest so we'll see what happens

My smallest is always the one stirring it up in the tank too. He often likes to thump the thermometer

There is actually a case of Pleco Attacking Piranha on youtube..

But you'll have to find some of the more bigger aggressive types of pleco... like this guy.. who is a meat eating pleco..

i have a gold piranha. i was thinking about putting a rhino pleco with it. do u think its safe?
